Good service and prompt delivery

The service and customer experience was excellent. Unlike a previous move made with another company where some of my furniture was damaged and/or destroyed, there was not one item even marked in this move with Megashift (from Durban to Jhb) My experience in terms of customer service received from Savanagh at the Durban branch, was really outstanding. I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a reliable company to take care of their move.

Durban branch was excellent. Godfrey and team did an efficient and timely collection from my home, CT delivery guys were good as well. All very helpful and friendly, good customer service, very careful with my boxes, best price for shared load. Dakalo was also very helpful in processing my entire move. Must commend Sizo and Thami in the DBN branch for all their help in establishing when I was getting my boxes delivered. JHB branch gave me a bit of a run around in finding out where my boxes were, but all in all I would definitely recommend Mega Shift Logistics.

i moved furniture from DBN to JHB, the staff in DBN were very helpful and the staff in JHB were very unprofessional had to constantly follow up with them and they only advised me in the latter path of the afternoon that they are unable to hoist my furniture, which i had already paid for the service. I requested for a refund and the follow day contacted another company who did the job they claimed they could not do.

I have in the past 52 years made 37 moves. At least 17 of those moves were made by my husband a friend and a bakkie and trailer. All without any problems. My last move was horrific. They loaded and unloaded my furniture into different trucks at least 5 times. My packing boxes I purchased were bashed up. A small box with precious inherited glassware was smashed to pieces, even though it was wrapped in lots of bubble wrap and paper packing. The box was labeled: Fragile nothing to be put on top - on all sides and an arrow pointing this way up. It seems to have been dropped from a height. When I reported it the response was "Did you take out all risks in transport insurance. The actual guys loading on and off loading are working long hours and when my load was delivered on Sunday at 18h00 5 days after loading they said they had already done 5 deliveries that day. They lable every item with your name according to your inventory so furniture won't get mixed with all the other loads.

The move was handled well.
